Arthur C. Pelzer was born in Charleston, South Carolina on April 2, 1974. Arthur graduated from the College of Charleston (B.A. 1997) and the University of South Carolina School of Law (J.D. 2003). Arthur joined the law firm of Barnwell, Whaley, Patterson & Helms, LLC as an associate in August of 2003, where he trained under the guidance of James Elliott and Thomas Pritchard. He left Barnwell, Whaley in 2006 to become an associate with the law firm of Pritchard & Elliott, Attorneys And Counselors At Law, LLC. He is admitted to the South Carolina Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Arthur is a member of the Charleston County Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association and American Bar Association. He is also a member of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, having successfully completed its highly regarded Trial Academy. He also served on the Trial Academy Committee in 2005. Arthur has civil trial practice experience. His practice areas include Construction Law, Personal Injury, Insurance Defense, Products Liability and General Civil Litigation.
